Billy Morris

Billy Morris, 87, of 381 Westerly Park Road in Eden, passed away Wednesday night, August 31, 2016, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, September 6, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  A reception will follow at The Morehead-Fair House.

Mr. Morris was born February 26, 1929 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Ralph Wilson Morris and Pauline Jordan Morris.  He was a member of North Spray Christian Church and a retiree of Fieldcrest-Cannon.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Mabes Morris of the home;  daughter, Debbie Dyer (Tommy) of Reidsville;  granddaughter, Stephanie Dalton (Jai);  two great-grandsons, DJ Moton and Jake Dalton; sister, Nancy Morris Cole;  nephew, Gary Morris (Kelly);  and special friend, Norman Hopkins, all of Eden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Morris;  sister-in-law, Geraldine Morris;  and nephews, Rickie and Ronnie Morris.
