Billy Joe Silvers

Billy Joe Silvers, 65, of Eden, NC, passed on October 26th at UNC Rockingham Hospital in Eden, NC.

A visitation and gathering will be held on Friday evening, October 29th, from 5-7pm at Fair Funeral Home in Eden. A memorial service is to be announced at a later date.

Billy was born on October 18th, 1956, to Lonnie Silvers and Jacqueline Bailey Silvers.

Billy was an avid collector of firearms and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Silvers is preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Silvers, his brothers, Raymond Allen Silvers and Donald Lee Silvers, and sister Rebecca Silvers Kennon.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Krista Barkasy of Eden, NC; sons William Silvers (Bridget), Nickelus Silvers (Taylor Agee) both of Ridgeway, Va, and Devon Silvers of the home; mother, Jacqueline Silvers; brother Ronald “Cookie” Silvers; grandchildren, Kayden, Konner, and Kameron; daughters, Marie, Kim, and Amy Mitchell and other grandchildren.
