Billie K. Wright

Billie K. Wright, 50, of 134 N. Hamilton Street, passed away Friday morning, July 8, 2011 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, July 11, at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mayodan Municipal Cemetery. Ms. Wright was born April 21, 1961 in Surry County, NC. She was a 1979 graduate of Morehead High School. Ms. Wright was currently a police officer with the Reidsville Police Department, a DARE officer and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Police. Surviving is her daughter, Alexandrea "Ali" Wright of Eden; her parents, Bill and Peggy Myers Shreve of Eden; sisters, Robin Shreve and Rene Mabe; brother-in-law, Keith Mabe; nephew, Dakota Mabe; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her parents at 224 Bryant Street in Eden.
