Billie Jo went to Wentworth Elementary in 1975 and attended James E Holmes High School. She was a devout Baptist who attended many different churches throughout her life. Billie Jo was a down to earth nature loving woman who was very religious and spiritual with God always having a place in her heart and home. She worked with her hands and loved to garden. In her early years she enjoyed sewing, crafting and drawing; she was a lover of animals, where ever Billie went a cat or two would always be nearby. Many meals were cooked for family gatherings at Billie's home usually shared around a campfire. She also made many memories riding horses on the family land where she'd also find arrowheads, that she'd proudly share stories about with all those around her. She was proud of her family and heritage.

Billie Jo stood firm even during the toughest times of her life. When Billie Jo made up her mind about something nothing could sway her - she had a dedication and passion for all that interested her whether it be collecting things or seeing value in even the smallest of things most people wouldn't take notice of.

The memorial service for Billie Jo will be held at Canaanland Baptist Church on 1560 W Harrison Street in Reidsville NC on January 6th 2023 at 12:00 pm as per the family's wishes where they would like to give a special thanks and appreciation to the team at Fair Funeral Home Inc of Eden NC as well as Jason & Erika Sigmon for their love, support and hosting of this event.
