Bianca M. Sharpe

Bianca M. Sharpe, 88, of Eden passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at UNC Rockingham Health Care.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 11am, at St. Joseph of the Hills Catholic Church, 316 Boone Rd, Eden. Following the service, their will be a procession to Roselawn Memorial Gardens for burial.

Bianca was born October 19, 1934 in Sesto Calende, Italy to the late Pietro Zamperini and Ersilla Salina Zamperini. She worked as a seamstress at Globman’s for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted member of the St. Joseph of the Hills Catholic Chuurch. 

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Eva Sharpe of Coldspring, NY, Louisa Sharpe Chambers of Eden, NC; son, Steven Sharpe (Laura) of Wilmington, NC; granddaughter, Maria Chambers of Eden, NC; brother, Cesare Zamperini of Sesto Calende, Italy; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Franco Lostaffa; sister-in-law Patricia Sharpe Haynes (Titus).  

In addition to her parents, Bianca is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Franklin Sharpe; sister, Carla Lostaffa.
