Beverly Jean Smith Pitzen

Beverly Jean Smith Pitzen, age 80 of 302 Lee Street in Stoneville passed away late Saturday evening, December 15, 2018 at North Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Fair Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend A.C. Brock officiating.  Burial will follow the service in Lawson Cemetery.  The family will greet visitors with refreshments prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:45 pm at the Morehead-Fair House (next to Fair Funeral Home) and other times at the residence.

Mrs. Pitzen was born in Stonington, IL to the late Robert Raymond Smith and Zelma Lorene Draper.  She was a dedicated member of Leaksville United Methodist Church.  Beverly retired as the owner and operator of Leisure Living Swimming Pool Company.  She loved living life to the fullest but most of all she loved her family.  Beverly will be missed by all that knew her.

Beverly is survived by her beloved husband, John Pitzen of the home; her daughter, Debra Weaver and husband, Donald of Kernersville, NC; two granddaughters, Christina Collins and husband, David of Kernersville, NC and April Rafko and husband, Tom of Richfield, WI; one grandson, John Metropulos and wife Andrea of Eland, WI; twelve great-grandchildren; her sibling, Bob Smith, Patricia Sheppard, Sharon Willcut, Brenda McWilliams, Bonnie Wagner, and Jim Smith.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Edmond Pitzen;her sister, Virgie Newsom and her brother, Condi Smith.
