Betty Jean Swinney Jarrett

Betty Jean Swinney Jarrett, 78, of 831 Grand Oaks Drive in Eden, passed away Sunday night, March 3, 2019, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 7, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the home.
A native of Rockingham County, NC, Mrs. Jarrett was born November 10, 1940 to the late Frank and Hazel Rice Swinney. She was a member of Meadowview United Methodist Church and was a retired hairdresser.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Jarrett, of the home; daughter, Sharon Howerton of Stoneville; brother, Ronnie Swinney of Eden; and several nieces and nephews.
