Betty Jean Isley Rickman

Betty Jean Isley Rickman, 80, formerly of Cedar Street, passed away Thursday evening, April 3, 2014, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, April 7, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville.

Mrs. Rickman was born December 4, 1933 in Leaksville, daughter of the late Raymond and Nellie Robertson Isley. She was a retiree of Unifi, Inc.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Stone and husband, John, of Eden; two sons, Tim Rickman and wife, Sherrie, of Eden, and Ricky Rickman of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Jim Stone, Amanda Loftis and husband, J.R., and Stacey Rickman; one great-grandchild, Aidan Conway; and sister, Linda Harris of Myrtle Beach, SC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Rickman; brother, Mac Isley; and sister, Martha "Teeny" Earles.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home.
