Betty Hill Barker

Betty Hill Barker, age 93 of Eden, NC passed away on Wednesday January 17th, 2024 at UNC Rockingham.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Friday January 19th at Overlook Cemetery.

Betty was born January 5th , 1931 to the late Willie Hill and Rachel Eggleston Hill in the Spray section of Eden.  She worked in her younger years for New System Laundry and later she was a caregiver for her family and close friends.  Betty loved to take care of all animals and especially her cats.

Surviving are daughter, Debbie McCarty of Pelham and a granddaughter, Angela Michelle Allen; sister, Mary Hill Edwards of Eden and nephew, Tony Edwards and wife Kathy.
