Betty Ann Cockram White

Betty Ann Cockram White, 85, passed away on Saturday, September 30th at UNC Rockingham Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

A private graveside service will be held 2 pm Wednesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Betty was born September 21, 1938 to the late Dean Potter Cockram and Vergie Roberson Cockram in Meadows of Dan, VA.  Betty was a member of First Wesleyan Church in Eden, and attended First Presbyterian Church with her daughter.   After High School, she finished cosmetology school and became a hairdresser and later opened Betty’s Beauty Land.  

Her daughter, Ruth Underwood, (Shannon) is left to cherish her memories along with her two grandchildren, Alayna and Abigail Underwood

Betty is preceded in death by her husband John Cecil White and a son, Matthew White and two sisters and two brothers.
