Betsy Hodges Bernard, 90, passed away July 16, 2015 at Forrest At Duke Retirement Home. A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Overlook Cemetery in Eden, NC.
Mrs. Bernard was born June 11, 1925 to the late Governor Luther Hodges and Martha Hodges.
She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband Donald M. Bernard.
She is survived by her daughter Carol Snyder and husband Todd; and son, Donald M. Bernard, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the Morehead-Fair House following the graveside service.
