Benjamin "Frank" Franklin Craddock

Benjamin "Frank" Franklin Craddock, 83, of 232 N. Pierce Street passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 11, 2020, at UNC-Rockingham Rehab and Nursing Care Center in Eden.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 14, at Overlook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 1 - 1:45 PM, at Fair Funeral Home before proceeding to the cemetery.

Mr. Craddock was born October 31, 1936 in Reidsville, NC to the late John Walker Craddock and Maggie Vernon Craddock.  He was a retired truck driver.  He loved to play checkers, lotto, and eating at McDonald's at least once a day.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Pulliam Craddock of Eden;  four children, Frances Rieson (Jim) of Ridgeway, VA, Michael Craddock, Sally Stophel (Gerald), and Jenny Willard (Buddy), all of Eden;  11 grandchildren;  21 great-grandchildren;  and sisters, Betty Pinnix and Othea Miller, both of Reidsville, and Lucy Comer of Stoneville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two of his children, Robert and Tammy;  a grandson, Michael, Jr.;  four brothers;  and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Fair Funeral Home, PO Box 337, Eden, NC 27289, to assist with cost of services.
