Barnita Biggs Bibee

Barnita Mae Biggs Bibee, 79 of Stoneville, passed away Monday, October 12, 2026 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, October 15, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Eden. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home from 5-7pm.

The family will also receive visitors from 10am-4pm at 165 Dogwood Rd, Stoneville and other times at 220 Lindy Rd, Stoneville.

Barnita was born July 29, 1947 in Rockingham County, North Carolina to the late Moses Biggs and Ellen Taylor Biggs. She worked as a sales representative for Cherokee Tobacco until her retirement. She was an animal lover. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her daughter, Wendy Bullins (Kenneth) of Stoneville; son, David Bibee (MaryAnn) of Eden; daughter, Misty Tredway (Jamie) of Stoneville; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special dog, Cheyenne.

In addition to her parents, Barnita is preceded in death by her husband, Wendell J. Bibee; brothers, Jack Biggs, Jimmie Biggs, and Fred Biggs.
