Barbara Southard Pulliam

Barbara Southard Pulliam, 87, of Eden, passed on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at her home.

A funeral service will be held 3pm, Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery in Eden. A visitation will be held for 1 hour prior to the service on Sunday at Fair Funeral Home.

Barbara was born October 11, 1934, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Archie Southard and Annie Fowler Southard. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She worked in the Central Supply Department of Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden with more than 20 years of service. Barbara loved her animals, especially her favorite pet, Chi-Chi. She loved being outside taking care of her yard. Barbara loved her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donald Wayne Pulliam of Richardson, TX, Billie Jo Sigmon of Eden, NC, Gregory Jackson Pulliam of Eden, NC; 5 grandchildren, Zach, Alex, Lora, Maria, Melisa; 4 great-grandchildren, Lamar, C.J., Arianna, Samuel.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, William Winfred Pulliam; 9 siblings.
