Barbara Odell Ellington

Barbara Odell Ellington, 81, of 110 Slayton Street in Eden, passed away Wednesday evening, October 22, 2014, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

A native of Rockingham County, Mrs. Ellington was born July 13, 1933 to late Clyde Bryant Odell and Hattie Austin Odell. She formerly worked with Rockingham County Council on Aging and enjoyed her job sitting with the elderly.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Miller and husband, Jeff, of Danville, VA; two sons, Tony Rouse of Eden and Keith Rouse of Waxhaw, NC; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul B. Rouse and second husband, Douglas Ellington.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home.
