Barbara Lawson Brown

Barbara Lawson Brown, 89, passed away July 8, 2022 at the North Pointe Assisted Living of Mayodan.

A Graveside Service will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 11:00am.  A visitation will be held at Fair Funeral Home from 10:00-10:45am before the service.

Barbara was born May 14, 1933 to the late Woodrow W. Lawson and Annie S. Lawson.  She worked at Fieldcrest Mills as a Clerical Worker for 30 plus years before retirement.

Barbara is survived by her two daughter’s Marcia Hamrick and Phyllis Brown both of Eden; grandchildren; Michael (Joy) Brown of Greensboro, Melissa (Barry) Knight of Summerfield, Tim Hamrick, Jr. of Greensboro, Kim (Josh) Woodall of Eden and Julie (Eric) Greer of Reidsville; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband William Phillip Brown, Jr. a son, Michael Brown, Sr. and son-in-law Tim Hamrick, Sr.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
