Barbara Ann Gunter Horn

Barbara Ann Gunter Horn, 86, of Stoneville, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023, at her home.

A funeral service will be held 11am Friday, February 10, 2023, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, with burial to follow at Stoneville Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10-11am, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

Barbara was born April 13, 1936, in Durham, NC, to the late Clarence Gunter and Frances Knight Higgins. She was a member of Osborne Baptist Church. She worked as an LPN at Jacobs Creek Nursing Home until retirement. Barbara was strong in her faith and loved her Christian family. She loved reading and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Horn of the home; sons, Tim Horn of Stoneville, Chris Horn of Eden; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Warm (Stan) of Boca Raton, FL; Margaret Wagner (Talmadge) of Keystone Heights, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her sons, Dean Horn, Brad Horn; sisters, Virginia, Marty, Alice, Carolyn, Earlene.
