Ashley Lancaster Johnson

Ashley Danielle Lancaster Johnson, 37, of Stoneville went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Osborne Baptist Church in Eden. Following the service, for those that want to follow, a procession will go to Ashley’s home on the farm, 2134 Snead Rd, Stoneville, for a gathering of fellowship in her memory.

Ashley was born October 1, 1986 in Eden, North Carolina, to Tim Lancaster and Carolyn Wray Lancaster. She was a graduate of Saint Andrews Presbyterian College. Ashley had a giving heart and loved the Lord. She was a volunteer at Osborne Baptist Church where she was also a member. Ashley also volunteered her time at Stoneville Elementary School. Over her life, Ashley worked for the Department of Social Services, the Rockingham County Tax Department, Barham and Associates, and most recently was co-owner of Johnson Tree and Property Maintenance. She loved horses and was known for her equine knowledge and horsemanship. Most of all, she loved her babies and spending her time with them. Ashley was loved and will forever be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ansley Johnson, Rylen Johnson, and Branson Johnson; parents, Tim Lancaster and Carolyn Lancaster; mother-in-law, Marie Johnson and father-in-law, Bobby Johnson; father of her children, Ryan Johnson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; special pet, Lyla.

Ashley is preceded in death by her grandparents, Eva Wray and John Wray; grandparents, Mary Lancaster and Marvin Lancaster; half-sister, Holly Atkins; special animal, Bo Lancaster.
