Archie Clayton Fulcher

June 6, 1940 — March 8, 2022

Archie Clayton Fulcher, 81, of Eden, NC, passed Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at his home.

A memorial service will be held 4pm Friday, March 11, 2022, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, 432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288. A visitation will be held 5-7pm, Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Fair Funeral Home.

The family will be receiving friends at other times at Archie’s home, 767 Saturn Dr, Ridgeway, Va, 24148.

Archie was born June 6, 1940, in Stokes County, NC, to the late Robert and Sally Fulcher. He is a Veteran of the US Army. Archie worked for many years as a truck driver for Thompson Arthor Paving Co and several logging companies. He was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge. Archie loved vintage cars and spending his time at the water with a fishing pole in hand. Many say he made the best Gin Fizz, ever.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Rita, of the home; children, Robin Fulcher (Pete) of Eden, Clay Fulcher of Eden, Melissa Clifton (Mark) of Ridgeway; stepchildren, Terra Deleo, Donald Hopper, Jr., Pamela Kelly; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous special friends.

In addition to his parents, Archie is preceded in death by his 5 brothers.
