Anthony Clement Notarcola, Jr., known affectionately as Tony, passed peacefully at home on May 22, 2024, after several years of declining health. 

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 4pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 3-4pm, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

Tony was born on July 8, 1962, in Havre De Grace, MD, to the late Anthony Clement Notarcola, Sr. and Lula Moore Howell. He graduated from Morehead High School in the class of 1980 where he enjoyed playing football. He later attended Forsyth Tech for Mechanical Drafting. Tony worked as a truck driver for Thomas Produce and Anderson Webb, then as a dispatcher for Barton Trucking. Tony most recently worked as a courier at Morehead Memorial Hospital until becoming disabled in 2009.

Tony loved driving his truck, tinkering on cars in Skip’s shop, and riding around town with his wife to go get an ice cream cone. He also loved to watch TV with his special pets, Macy and Nibbler. Most of all, Tony loved to make people laugh.
 
Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Serena Coleman Notarcola. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Howell and sister-in-law, Susie Howell, brother, Charles Howell and sister-in-law, Betty Howell, as well as brother, Mark Howell and sister-in-law, Robin Howell; uncle, Joseph Notarcola; aunt, Linda Notarcola; father-in-law, Jerry Crow; step-mother-in-law, Marie Coleman; brother-in-law, John Coleman, III; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; special friends, William “Skip” Barnes and Mike Gray.

In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his stepfather, Ben Howell, and mother-in-law, Shirley Crow; father-in-law, John Coleman, Jr.
