Ann Land Mitchell

Ann Land Mitchell, 88, of Eden passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Friday, November 24, 2023, at Land Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-1:45pm at Fair Funeral Home in Eden, before processing to the cemetery.

Ann was born August 21, 1935, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Alvie Herman Land and Emaline Catherine Griggs Land. Ann worked as Director of Nursing for 25 years with the Brian Center of Eden. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and devoting her time to Spray Baptist Church. She loved to sing.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Russell Mitchell of the home; children, Patricia Ingram of Griffin, GA, and David Nicholas of Eden, NC; brother, Keith Land of Eden, NC; sister, Carol Thompson of Winter Park, FL; grandchild, Melissa Stewart; three great-grandchildren, Abigail, Zoey, Genevieve; and many other loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her brothers, Jeff Land and Sammy Land.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spray Baptist Church, 745 Church St, Eden, NC 27288.
