Ann Kallam Wray

Ann Kallam Wray, 61, of 1820 Woodrow Ave. passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016 at her home.  She was born on October 10, 1954 in Leaksville to the late Edward “Ed”
Thomas and the late Lucille “Teenie” Burks Kallam.  Ann was a graduate of Morehead High School, class of 1972.  She worked for Vanier Graphics and later for Fieldcrest Mills.  Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Cleveland Wray.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in Woodlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.

Ann is survived by her brother, Edward T. Kallam, III of Mooresville, NC;uncle Melvin Cook and wife, Gaynell; cousins, Lisa Cook, Peggy Bowers and husband, Buddy, Patsy Vestal, and her faithful cat “Callie” all of Eden.

A special thanks to all of her loving neighbors and friends who were so good to her in the years of declining health.
