Simpson

Visitation
Fair Funeral Home Chapel
5:00 - 7:00 pm (Eastern time)
Angela Simpson, 54, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after an incredibly brave and difficult battle with pancreatic cancer. Through every stage of her illness, she showed remarkable strength, grace, and resilience, fighting with courage that inspired everyone who knew her.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:00pm (location to be announced). Burial will follow at Dan View Cemetery in Eden.
She was an extraordinary wife, a devoted mother, a loving daughter, and a loyal friend. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave her love freely and selflessly, always putting others before herself. To know her was to feel supported, understood, and genuinely cared for.
Angela had a deep passion for teaching and dedicated her life to her students. She believed that education went far beyond the classroom and considered her students her children long after they had left her. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen and valued, and the impact she made on countless lives will be felt for generations.
Her kindness, patience, and unwavering love leave behind a legacy that cannot be measured. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on through the lives she touched, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so generously.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
She is survived by her husband, Clint Simpson of the home; daughter, Sydney Gammons (Stephen Gammons) of Ruffin; son, Matthew Simpson of the home; Birth Father, George Matherly of Roxboro; Mother, Ann Barrington (Jim Barrington) of Eden; Mother in Law, Wanda Overby of Eden; Sister Loticia Woods (Dwayne Woods) of Eden; Step Sister, Melody Meadows of Ridgecrest, CA; Nephew, Camden Woods of Brown Summit; Niece, Sarah Woods of Eden.
