Angela Dawn Meadows Compton

Angela Dawn Meadows Compton, 46, of 337 Billy Harris Street and most recently of 14102 NC Hwy 87 in Eden, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 20, at First Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Angie was born July 21, 1966 in Rockingham County. She was a member of First Assembly of God. Angie was formerly a flight attendant for US Air and a Certified Nursing Assistant. Most recently she was a property manager for Ledic Corporation.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Compton; son, Josh Kingston; daughter, Megan Kingston; father, Bill Meadows and wife, Jamie; granddaughter, Hailey Kasten; sister, Billie Jo Walker and husband, Ronnie; step-sisters, Brandy Quinley and Rebecca Shelby; special nephew, Paul Rouse; and numerous special aunts and uncles.

Preceding her in death was her daughter, Amber Kingston and her mother, Judy Meadows.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister, Billie Jo Walker, 1278 Lincoln Street in Eden.
