Amy Michelle Ward

Amy Michelle Ward, 46, of Eden, NC, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at her home.

A memorial service will be held 2pm Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1-2pm.

Family and friends are welcome to visit at the home of her parents, 1805 Maryland Ave., Eden, NC 27288.

Amy was born in Jacksonville, NC, on May 23, 1976. She was raised in Eden, NC. She had many jobs and was a jack-of-all-trades. If she wanted it done, she did it. Her hobbies included going to the beach, the lake, and Tennessee and riding ATVs, going to drag strips, pretending to be a race car driver, and spending time with her kids. Amy was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Amy leaves behind three children to carry out her legacy, Breana (14), Brentley (10), Braylee (10); three stepchildren, Kayla Thompson, Kayla Snow, Zachary Snow; she was a special “mom” to many more. Amy is also survived by her parents, James and “Pinky” Ward; sister, Patricia Canaday; chosen sister, Evonne Perry; brother-in-law, William Barry Moore; nephews, Blake Blanco, Brad Moore, Elijah Blackwell; nieces, Leticia Blanco, Cierra Price, Willow Jacob, Sophie Jacob, Addy Blanco, Autumn Moore; numerous God children.

Amy was preceded in death by her brother, Michael D. Ward; sister, Melissa F. Moore; maternal grandparents, Maxine McGuire (Charles), Walter S. Pyrtle (Betty); paternal grandparents, Jack Ward (Delores).
