Amos E Moore

April 2, 1932 — June 22, 2021

 

Mr. Amos E. Moore, 89, passed away Tuesday, June 22nd at his home.

 A Graveside Service will be held Friday, June 25th at 1:00 pm, at the McKinney Family Cemetery, 9227 Hwy 150, Reidsville, NC followed with Military Honors performed by the Rockingham County Honor Guard.

 Mr. Moore was born April 2, 1932 in Henry County, VA., to the late Robert Moore and Effie Dunn Moore Frith.  Amos worked for Southern Tool Manufactory as a Tool and Die Maker. He was a US Army Veteran and served in the Korean War.  

 He is survived by a son Clinton (Jackie) Moore, a daughter Ann (Tommy) Moore McKinney  and a step-daughter Vallerie (Charles)  Lovings  all of Reidsville, NC.; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; Sisters; Mary Joyce (Jerry), Dovie Dixon, Shirley Banks (Leroy), Brothers; Dave Frith of Eden, Ed Frith (Donnita) of Bristol, VA and special nephew Jerry Moore.

 Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Mae Wheatley Moore, step-son Larry Roop; Sisters; Cora Brammer, Lucy Knowles and Betty Gatewood;  Brothers; Jerry Moore, Henry Moore and George Moore and Jimmy Frith.
