Alline Clark Overby

Alline Clark Overby, 88, of Eden passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Eden Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

A graveside service will be held at 11am Friday, May 3, 2024 at Dan View Cemetery in Eden.

Alline was born June 15, 1935 in Henry County, VA, to the late Pink Clark and Virgie McMillon Clark. She attended Draper Pentecostal Holiness Church. Alline was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending her time surrounded by family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dennis Overby of Ridgeway, VA, Linda Wilson (Robert) of Reidsville, NC, Kathy Foley (Robert) of Patrick Springs, VA, Wanda Barker (Bruce) of Eden, NC; sister, Irene Compton of Axton, VA; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Pink and Virgie Clark, Alline was preceded in death by her husband, William Overby; sister, Bertha Barker; daughter-in-law, Shirley Overby.

The family would like to thank the staff at Eden Rehabilitation and Healthcare as well as the staff of AuthoraCare for their support and care of Alline.
