Alice Doraine (Booth) Shropshire

Alice Doraine (Booth) Shropshire, age 63, of Eden, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020, at her residence.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 2 pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial to follow in Danview Cemetery.  She will lie in repose Monday from 1 pm to 6 pm for those who wish to come by and pay their respects and sign the register book.  Other times at the house at 135 Rakes Rd., Eden. 

Alice was born January 14, 1957, in Eden to the late Willis McKinley and Mattie Elizabeth (Bowers) Booth. 

She is survived by two daughters, Ann Pierce of Eden and Cynthia (Jerry) Carmichael of Madison; three grandchildren, Sarah Carmichael, Jacob (Mary Lynn Branch) Pierce and Christopher (Christa Gibbs) Sturgill; one great granddaughter, Ava Sturgill; one brother, Garvin (Julie) Booth of Axton, VA., 2 half sisters and 1 half brother.

Besides her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Shropshire and one brother, Mark Anthony Booth.
