A. Darrell Light

A. Darrell Light, 63, of Eden, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021, at his home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 11th, at 11am, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, with burial to follow at Danview Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Friday, December 10th, from 5-7pm, at Fair Funeral Home in Eden.

Darrell was born April 7th, 1958, in Forsyth County, to Clinton Orville Light and Yvonne Spain Light.  He was a graduate of Morehead High School and worked as a driver for Matthews Casket Company.  His hobbies included golf, golf, basketball, and golf.  He loved his family, and most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Angela Wilson Light; his mother, Yvonne Spain Light; his children, Alex Daniel Light, Michael Eugene Meeks, Jr. (Rebecca); his sister, Leila Light Klann (Corky); and his four grandchildren, Christian, Harlie, Kennedy, and Karter.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clinton Orville Light.
